I am loving how the elements coalesce on this piece. The color and the card itself condition-wise are top notch for signed vintage, and then we have a ballpoint auto executed with flair. Enlarged and stared at it a bit, really charming and pretty.
The colors on this card are breathtaking, and the centering makes you feel like it was just pulled from a pack and given to the Scooter to sign. Corner sharpness is off the charts. Auto is beautifully cascaded along the best spot on the card.
Vintage in person autos are such a tough niche as so many attributes need to click. Normally I am not a fan of an auto on the players face but in this example, with the image being a huge portrait, it isn’t an issue for this collector. An overall sharp card complimented but a solid ballpoint autograph. Only points detracted for the lightness at the start of the auto.
The card and the auto need to compliment each other for it to really work. The card has nice colors and a sharp image with the background effected by some surface wear that mostly blends in. The autograph is good but not his best and it is not as bold as I would like but it is legible and it mostly works on this card
Yes, the centering could be better, but the overall package is strong. I really love the color and the ballpoint auto and how it all comes together.
Very clean card with a nice image, bright white borders, corners look great as well. Love the ball point auto although it's faded slightly at the start and I'd prefer it not over his face. Centering is a little off, but for a signed vintage card it works.
Colors and image stand out. Wish the auto didn't go through part of the face.
Centering and a streaky opening stroke on the auto, but step back and overall the eye appeal is pretty special for signed vintage.
Presents very well, and the card is exceptional quality for signed vintage. Ball point pen is ideal, and well placed. A faintness to the opening of the signature is what detracts a bit for me here.

A ball point signature on a 52 tops feels like a work of art signed by the artist. There’s a bit of delusion at the beginning of the Auto and the card is obviously slightly off-center. None of this detracts materially from me.
