1955 Topps Roberto Clemente #164

I'm not going to think about this one. Why would I waste my time? It belongs in a museum. My museum. Delightful example.

Such an incredible piece I can’t in good conscience rate this anything other than top tier. Yes, the auto is extremely faded but so are most and this has to be the best conditioned signed Clemente RC I’ve ever seen.

This is a tough one because the card itself has to be among the very finest examples of a Clemente rookie card signed by him. If the auto was bolder, this would be near God Tier for me but the auto is very light/faded. Nonetheless, this is an important signed card that would be an honor to have in any collection.

card and auto needs to work together but it does not do it in this card. The card is respectable but the auto is not

The auto is just a bit too faded for my taste. The card is fantastic for signed vintage. On these, the auto just makes the lion's share of the impact in either direction.

Auto is very light. Colors are ok but don't stand out. Some surface wear and has PD.
