Like many have said, that auto just needed to shine with lower placement.
The scarcity of this card being signed can't be ignored. Hockey grail! Really wish the signature and inscriptions swapped spots. The card itself presents pretty well, but Bobby's personal touch leaves me wanting a bit more!
I really like the centering and the inscriptions. The auto, for my taste, should have been placed over one of the white patches where the inscriptions are.
The centering is great and the writing all around the centerpiece image works, it's just the primary autograph should have been in the white portion of the background.
I am a huge fan of vintage hockey cards and collect playing days hockey HOF autos, so I can certainly appreciate the rarity associated with so many inscriptions with Bobby Orr's autograph on his iconic rookie card. However, Orr's signature gets lost in the dark background above his head. I want to love this example more, but the illegibility of the signature brings it down in my opinion.
Definitely a cool piece and over delivers on eye appeal overall, but wish he signed it in the lighter areas.
I normally loved some customized writing with the auto and the bottom would have been great for the auto with that bottom background. But in this case the autograph is up top and in a pen that just blends in and kills it and the eye appeal.

Incredible auto, strong registration. Obvious mis-centering and chipped edging is apparent and detracts from eye appeal.
