Incredible card with a small amount of surface and corner issues.

Amazing. I can't get too picky here.. You could easily find a higher grade example that looks significantly worse. Little tilt and raised corners prevent this from ranking higher

Very slight tilt and centering shift, but otherwise a gorgeous copy. A tad dirty.

Beautiful. Great balance throughout. Soft corners and some dirt marks all that downgrade.

Great centering on an iconic image. Staining and honest wear keep it from a more elite EA score.

Nicely centered with honest wear. Given the rarity here, I cannot be too harsh. Probably fairly graded at a 3 but technical grades do not matter for a card like this one.

This is mythical. The wear I want to see on a 1917 card. The image is so sharp. The Boston Store back is my favorite for a Boston Red Sox pre-war 'rookie' of the Babe. Thanks to whomever's Mom for not throwing this advertisement away. The boys wanted it and always will.

I love this card. The centering and image contrast are just lovely. It's exactly what I'd want a 1917 Ruth to look like! Would LOVE to have this in my collection one day!

Love the EA aside form the surface staining in the background and I seem to be sensing some counterclockwise tilt most noticeably along the right border which widens as you up it .
