I cannot look past the damage at the top of the card. It hits me immediately. Rest of the card has decent appeal.
I always thought the automatic 1 for a pinhole was ridiculous. This card is a beauty.
Wow, this looks good. Might the pinhole make it even better? Imagining some kid hanging this somewhere in their room.. Nearly 100 years later, a piece of history. Anyways.. Amazing color, centering, reg, etc etc etc
Incredible copy for the grade with two pinholes and a little up and down off centering. Great copy.
Nice copy, but the pinhole keeps it out of the A tier for me
Overall a WoW card. The sharp image and strong color. The pinholes do bother me but the image and color over come it
I just don't care about the pinholes because they don't bother me. I could cite centering but when is the Red Ruth centered? This specific example of this card is just flat out pretty and that's what we're grading here. A. Shout out to a 1 with no wrinkles and awesome color.
This hits the eye lovely. No wrinkles or creases. The all-important red background is rich and smooth and exhibits zero weak patches where it looks speckled with white fibers, as many are. The focus is strong. The card is just very clean, not dingy or dulled from poor storage over time. I see the pinholes yet they don't nag my eye. Just a pretty, pretty card.

A+ Color A+ Registration C+ Surface A- Cut / Centering Great looking card. The bottom larger pinhole is the only reason I didn’t grade this. However, from 18” away , looks like Babe’s belly button is showing through the jersey (ha). The top pinhole isn’t as obvious.
