There are stains. Plenty of em. There. I said it. But the image is so precise and detailed that the card almost looks like an original painting. If this were a large format piece, it's the sort of thing you'd frame and hang on the wall.
Carmel stains so we know it was in the box for the 1915β¦. Maybe the best version of this card Iβve seen. Itβs so yummy Iβd probably eat it with the box of cracker jacks it came in. This is a card I would see at a show, stop, look at it and drool for 15 minutes as I contemplate selling a huge part of my collection for it.
Great looking image and color. I don't really mind the stains on these as others have mentioned since that is probably how they looked when pulled out of the box 110 years ago. I'd buy this one.
Best way I can say it: the stains look like they belong there and enhance the eye appeal to me. Reminds me of jeans that you buy ripped. Touch of centering from GT.
Love the focus of the image. Color is nice as well. A bit of staining but it looks more like a patina that goes well w/ the presentation.
Image and color I like. I usually don't mind a little bit of staining on CJs but this example has more than I'd want.
Do not like the look of this card. IF it was a 1914 then it would be so so Right. The 1914 cards were in the box so they get caramel on it. The 1915's were not in the box so they should be stain free. This staining is to much. the card itself has nice colors and image and the centering is ok
For me, those stains are a badge of honor; they add charm and character. Like a boxer who won the fight and has some scars to show for it. The centering and image are stunning. I would prefer this to a bleached, soaked example with razor corners. This is eye appeal to me.
Call me NUTSO but this is exactly how I want any Cracker Jack to look! Love this copy!

I like'em dirty. But in the right places! Centering, image, no wrinkles, sign me up and I'll take this over a bleached one with sharper corners plus the $ difference all day and twice on Sundays!
