1934 Goudey Lou Gehrig #61

Looks very bright but not sure if that's just the scan. Centering shift and surface wear, most noticeable on his cap, hold this back some.

Slightly off center, blemishes on the hat, but I just can't get over how white and clean those borders are which are usually found toned or stained. Also the color and focus is remarkable like it was printed yesterday. Truly a rare find.

nice looking card and nice and bright and nice size border. Colors are good but the white speckling in the blue of the hat and the bottom effect it. Off centering also holds it back

I'm gonna go out on a limb & guess this is a PSA scan that washes out the color. If I'm right, this is an insanely bright & crisp Gehrig. Some staining on the back likely kills the technical grade but makes for an awesome eye appeal card. I'd love to see this one in hand.

A sharp card with good eye appeal, though centering and some blemishes in his cap do impact the proceedings a bit.
