1952 Bowman Mickey Mantle #101

Gorgeous example of this card with mild registration the one flaw I can cite as compared to some others. The back is a non-issue for me.

Excellent image, great appeal and cards the back is it's only downfall. I weigh back issues much more lightly in determining appeal if all is legible.

I prefer thicker borders on this set.

This hits on all cylinders. A gorgeous example of one of my favorite cards.

This felt like an A+ right off the bat and stayed there with a long look. Beautiful example with nothing that would turn me off.

Some toning on the right border, but centered well and a nice image.

This is really hard to improve upon. Some mild sway at the top of the side borders is all that keeps it from GT for my taste. This is the sweet spot for me as a collector, selecting cards; in a normal viewing situation whether in hand or desk/wall display these corners look great-- so I never see need to upgrade from this level.
