1956 Topps Mickey Mantle #135

It's a bummer that the main damage cuts right through The Mick.

A well lived-in 56 Mantle. Something about a card like this feels so special - someone truly loved this card at some point long before grading even existed - they handled it, showed it off, shared it, etc. Maybe you know that person, maybe you don’t - but cards like this are a reminder of what brought many of us into the hobby as kids. The emotion and story behind this Mantle feels far more special than a pristine PSA 10. Cheers to that 🍻

Strong coloring but creasing and surface issues limit the eye appeal of copy.

To many creases and to much damage on the card to truly enjoy. most of the creases, lines etc actually blends in if looking from some distance and the face was not impacted so there is some saving grace. But this card is not for me

The heavy creases hurt the eye-appeal a great deal.
