Incredible. Perfect in nearly every way. I don't need a MBA sticker to tell me that.
Near-perfect centering with flawless registration and no print defects on a very difficult card. This is as good as it gets.
This card is notorious for being off-centered, but this example has outstanding centering. A specimen worthy of the term "eye appeal"!
Good centering good colors and sharp image and some wear on the edges
If the hobby needs a singular "exemplar" for the 1951 Bowman Mantle, I think we can stop the search here. This may be the one. It's really just the extra beach time showing up on his face that holds it back for me from God Tier. But I'm probably wrong... ya... ya I think... I think I'm wrong.
Blown away. This could be a 9. That centering! The wonderful registration. Amazing namebar. And I love the symmetrical toning on the reverse, naturally beautiful. Godly.
Amazing example of the Mick's RC and one that can go toe to toe with many graded in the 6-7 range. Centering is lights out, registration is spot on, no roller marks and its busting out of that slab with chunky boarders. Has to be on of the nicest 4's in existence.
In my decades of collecting, I may have seen close to all graded examples of this card. This example's centering or focus, separately, would make it a standout. That one specimen exhibits both attributes, with no creasing, major glaring corner wear, or other flaws that would distract the eye... it's nothing short of "cardboard cosmic" good fortune. This card looks prettier than many a higher graded specimen. Bravo .

This is the ideal for this card. This and the other 4 on this site are better centered (with focus) than pretty much every high 3rd party grade copy I have seen.
