This almost looks too good to be true, despite the imperfect centering and clockwise tilt.
Oh boy this is tough to beat. Slight centering shift prevents this from god tier but I can't imagine speaking negatively about anything else with this card.
This ranks as the second-best example Iβve seen on here. Aside from the noted tilt, itβs outstanding in every aspect. The color and eye appeal are a clear A+ to my eye.
The centering shift at the top prevents a higher score, but this is a stunner otherwise!
Image explodes off the card. Color and blue, fantastic. The tilt is very noticeable is all.
Simply Said "Drop the mike"... Love the corners, the centering(so slight barely notic it) , and the clarity of the image
I know this card's population so well, and I do not believe I will be giving more than a handful A+ or higher. This card is truly spectacular and pleases the eye much more than so many examples with higher third party opinion grades. The background is immaculate. The centering nearly perfect. No blurring around the cap, either, which some have. Truly one of the best examples in the hobby. A+ is an extreme outlier Eye Appeal grade in my opinion, for the 1952 Topps Mantle. The only aspect holding it from God Tier status is the degree of side border width difference (tilt) at the top of the card. Love this example.
Absolutely amazing example that would be the top card in virtually any collection. The only small quibble is the slight tilt and blemish on the reverse, neither of which matters much when the card has centering, color and surface like this one. Bravo to the owner!

A beautiful copy, tiny bit off centering but such a nice copy.
