1954 Bowman Mickey Mantle #65

This is nearly improvable, for my taste. High A+. If it had only one of either the white dot in the cap or the sliver of side off centering, God Tier. Way prettier than many a 7 and 8 I have seen.

I’m zooming, and zooming, and zooming. Nada. Mick comes at you like you’re looking at a modern day photograph. If I got ahold of this card, it would never leave my collection.

A little dirt next to his head and a little off centered left to right prevents it from "God Tier" but I gorgeous copy.

love the overall look and the colors are sharp and the borders are clean. Just not a fan of the way they do the image and how close up it looks pixelized

For a 1954 Bowman Mickey Mantle, this example ranks among the elite. Centering is superb with minimal tilt, and the print registration is absolutely flawless. Notice the contrast and crisp print quality in the detail of his undershirt—exceptional even by high-grade standards.

Beautiful Mick! Slight centering tilt and corner wear keep from a higher grade.

I know this card too well. So few are centered like this. So many have the white print imperfection in top left. Were this mine, I would never pay for corners to "upgrade it." 100% eye satisfaction on this.
