1911 E94 George Close Co. Ty Cobb

Centering slightly off but looks pack fresh for a card that's 115 years sold. Beautiful card.

Really pretty overall, from a "step back" view. The slight tilt and what strikes me as a mild slant cut are the only things I see after staring at it and enjoying it for a long moment. A high eye appeal grade for an eye-pleasing baseball card.

With a TPG of 8 I should inspect this carefully, but I wont. Card presents beautifully with just a small diagonal tilt. The colors drip into bottom border a bit more than I'd like, but not much else to note.. Solid

I pick up a mild skewing to the overall cut, yet my eye is overall pleased by the solid color, the centering, the blemish-free image, and even the well shaped corners.

I cannot get past the colors and the borders. The colors are so sharp and vibrant and the Border is so clean and bold(slight centering opportunity) but over all a GREAT CARD

Diamond cut with soft corners and a top to bottom shift. This card gets a 5 or 6 if graded today with PSA.

When buying high grade, buy it like this. The only improvement could be finding this exact card in a 7 holder. The difference to a 9 is not noticeable to justify the addition expenditure when the 8 looks like this one does.
