Great example of eye appeal in the face of technical flaws, which don't get in the way of the enjoyment much at all.
Love the green background and the image looks nice. Centering is off a little and the corners are rounded with a small crease in the lower left. But they don't take much away from the overall appeal.
A lot to like here. The strong color caught my eye first, overall presentation is quite nice.
I am going A+ here because to me this is what a card this old is supposed to look like, when it looks great. Add better corners and it is GT but too sharp and it almost looks worse to me, or perhaps better said, "unnatural." This is aging beautifully versus plastic surgery.
Frankly, this card is what eye appeal as a concept is all about. I see the corner wear, but the overall beauty of the other aspects makes me not care about that wear. The centering, color, registration, it adds up in a way that totally pleases my eye and renders the flaws moot. Has been a pleasure to stare at this card a bit this morning!
What Catches my eye is the Strong green background, then the amazing quality of the image and then the big bold and bright borders. For a T206 its a WOW and for a Cobb Even more so. Minor issues especially the bottom corners but The Color and image overcomes it so easily
This is exactly the kind of copy I would buy were I seeking one of these for my collection. If the corners retained square shape, this is an A+ or GT. The depth of the green, with not a blemish...the focus, it really holds the eye in a pleasing way. You find yourself glued to the central portrait and the green, and not so much the perimeter. Just works.
Obviously the card has corner/border issues, but that's why it's a 2.5. The interior of the card, the image -- perfection. And the centering isn't horrible plus evenly worn corners, white borders -- love this card.

Incredible copy! Love it. Lower right corner is the biggest flaw to my eye.
