An incredible example, ever so OC but doesn’t detract at all from how beautiful this card is.
This card is so much better and nicer than the technical grade. It’s one of the most aesthetically pleasing examples of this card that I’ve seen
A commanding copy with every element in concert. The image is crisp, the name and team text are defined, and the white border is impeccably clean for the vintage. The red accents on the cap lift the portrait, the bat and facial tones separate with authority, and the black at the neck delivers striking brightness and contrast. Centering is textbook, and the corners are shockingly sharp. This is the template for elite eye appeal. God Tier 101.
Centering... check. Color... check. Registration... check. Small amount of back issues.... who cares. This is the kind of card I look for, great pick up.
Standout example. The stain is the main thing keeping from a higher grade.
Centered, bold red background, and the image looks great.
This would be a forever copy for all but the most picky collector. Outstanding example.
this card is a prime example of the need for the Community here at Eye Appeal Inc. This is way better then the slab grade. The Red really POPs, the image is solid and the borders nice and bold. Centering is an opportunity but better than many of this card and those borders some discoloring from age. But for a card older than 115 years this is a WOW card Someone got lucky or smart to grab this one

Great card! Looks like a 7. Back is damaged but not as bad as you'd expect for a card pulled out of a scrapbook.
