One black dot above the ball distracts a bit and there is some smudge or old wax residue on his last name that also draws my attention. Those flaws and general edge and corner wear keep it from the A Tier yet do not add up to anything too serious.
At first glance even better than where I landed. On a longer look the smudging around his last name does grab my eye. The corner wear is just the right level not to disturb and the centering and yellow are standout qualities.
Nice centering and the color looks great. Some edge and corner wear and minor surface issues, but this looks great overall.
Wonderful centering and just a few blemishes in the yellow background. Very nice example.
Centering and clean bright yellow carry this card's eye appeal into the top tier, for my taste. Minor flaws in the name area emerge on a longer look.
Very well-centered with subtle tilt. Black name bar has a bit of a white haze in the middle. Overall, a very pleasing card that presents well.
Hits the eye very well. Talk about subtle wear that is easy on the eye. This card has had a smooth journey through time!
Nice image and colors and the borders are bold near centered and clean
Really solid Namath. Very slight tilt and some marks in the yellow background keep from a higher grade.

Corners and some surface problems at the nameplate detract. Centering is incredible however. Color is strong.
