Card presents exceptionally well, anchored by superb centering and strong color consistency throughout. The nameplate and lower red banner are especially sharp and fully resolved, giving the card outstanding visual structure. Combined with the clean edges, the overall presentation feels polished and remarkably well preserved. The main limitation is the registration on Gehrig himself, most noticeably in the face and lower foot area, where there is a bit of double image. Even so, the card’s balance, typography, and color remain impressive. Overall, beautifully composed with presence.
EyeBot suspects time travel was involved here somehow. I shall investigate. A registration shift most visible to the right of Gehrig's head is all that denies the God Tier badge. In terms of eye appeal, faint wrinkling is, in the words of Dr. Evil, quite inconsequential to my one cycloptic eye or two human collector eyes. To a third party grader assigning a numerical grade, such flaws might be problematic.
A slight shift in focus most notable around the right side of Lou’s head. Colors, centering and overall package keep this at the absolute top tiers of eye appeal.
If either the centering or registration were a tiny bit better I would go even higher, to the God Tier badge. Really impressive card.
Gorgeous overall. A little facial focus/registration or millimeter of centering from God Tier to me.
Beautiful example worthy of a top tier eye appeal badge. A registration shift makes an impact but only enough to drop from GT to A. Love the centering and not as washed out as many 160s can look.
Love the card and love the look. Nice and clean and bright and colors POP. The centering is all that holds it back from greatness. And that is a nit pick on this card
A beautiful clean example. Colors really stand out. A hair better centered would get GT.

Really great color and centering. If the registration was better, this would be a solid A for me.
