Great copy. A little toned and surface issues on his face. Also it's sitting a little high but a great card none the less.
Well centered and the edges and corners are in good shape. The white spots on his face and cap do distract though.
Centering and a few too many print or surface defects (white dots/spots on his face and cap) keep this one from graidng higher for me.
Attractive front. Little bit of natural toning but still impressive. Have to take into account the reverse somewhat at least, but itβs a trade Iβd be willing to make to get that front.
the main image i enjoy the rest i am neutral about. The colors and the card look dark and almost dingy to me. Nothing pops on the card
This is a tricky one for me. And also what makes this site fun for me-- encountering cards with unique wear patterns, like this. That "red zone" is really fantastic and a treat to stare at. The centering also hits me as top tier. The surface marks being on Paige's face do bump my eye, and I therefore land at the high grade of B+ for overall eye appeal, which reflects the great attributes of the card while also letting the one key flaw have the impact of preventing highest tier.
My cycloptic sensor detects elite centering and a noteworthy red edge and corner, which is known as the Achilles heel of any 1953 Topps baseball card. Scattered surface blemishes and corner wear are logged, yet EyeBot remains swayed by the centering and "healthy Achilles."

Quite a nice Paige! Very settled to look at and appreciate. That appeal is driven by near dead centering and a sharp bottom right corner. That makes the nameplate hold the image incredibly well. Registration is clear, especially on the Browns' logo. Holding the card from a higher grade are some light surface disturbances on the face. The mark on the back is no bother, maybe adds some charm to a card carries real warmth and calmness.
